Formed in 2024, Pescao is a trio made up of Tomás Hurtado on vocals, Clemente Boetsch on guitars and Andrés Elgueta on drums. Their music draws directly from the pop of the 1960s and 1970s, while also flirting with folk, surf rock and the Latin American songwriting tradition. The outcome is a sound the group describes as warm, handmade and full of personality, far from the polished formulas that dominate the streaming platforms.

Twelve songs about everyday life

The heart of «Uno» lies in small stories: domestic scenes, affections, memories and observations of daily life that the band turns into bright melodies. Rather than grand statements, the group opts for an intimate narrative in which each track works like a brief postcard. Tributes and collaborations

The album also pays homage to its musical roots. Among the twelve tracks is a cover of «De nosotros dos», by the beloved Uruguayan songwriter Eduardo Mateo, a nod that confirms the trio’s dialogue with the River Plate songbook. The record features several guests as well, including Vicente, Pablo Lobos, Olivia García and Andrés Elgueta in his solo capacity, who add nuance and texture to the whole.
