Santiago Rocks 2026 has confirmed its final lineup: on Sunday, December 13, the Hipódromo Chile venue in the Independencia district will bring together Los Jaivas and Joe Vasconcellos as the leading Chilean acts, alongside a group of long-running Argentine bands. A lineup that spans generations

The bill mixes Spanish-language rock names that have shaped audiences across different eras. From Argentina come Los Auténticos Decadentes, with more than three and a half decades on the scene, plus Illya Kuryaki and the Valderramas and Vilma Palma e Vampiros. On the local side, 2 Minutos bring their South American punk rock pedigree, and GYT, the project reuniting Guyot and Toth, promises to revive the 1980s anthems many attendees likely grew up singing. Organizers also teased a surprise act yet to be revealed, keeping close followers of the lineup guessing.

Los Jaivas: the festival’s local heart

Within a bill with strong Argentine presence, Los Jaivas stand out as the name carrying the most weight for Chilean musical identity. The band, which has fused rock with Andean roots and Latin American folk since the 1960s, still brings classics like «Todos Juntos» and pieces of their landmark «Alturas de Macchu Picchu» to the stage. Sharing the day with Joe Vasconcellos, another veteran who has blended rock with Latin American and Brazilian rhythms throughout his career, reinforces the festival’s role as a showcase for rock made in Chile, not just a stop for international tours.

Ticket sale dates and how to get in

Sales rolled out in stages: fans who pre-registered on the official santiagorocks.cl site got exclusive presale access on Thursday, July 23, between 11:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. General sale opened that same day at 1:00 p.m. through the usual ticketing platform for large-scale events in Chile. As of this writing, no official ticket prices had been announced, so it’s worth checking the festival’s channels ahead of the December date.
